Our Founder
Rebecca Allen, PhD
Founder and Principal Consultant
Rebecca Allen is a computer science educator, researcher, academic leader, and applied AI specialist. She serves as Chair of Computer Science and Mathematics at Mount St. Joseph University, where she has helped expand computing programs and develop educational opportunities in artificial intelligence, data analytics, social computing, and computer science education.
Her work brings together artificial intelligence, education, healthcare research, organizational leadership, and participatory approaches to problem-solving. She has experience helping students, faculty members, researchers, and professionals understand technical concepts and apply emerging technologies to meaningful problems.
Rebecca’s research and collaborative projects include the use of AI in healthcare information, educational improvement, research synthesis, and organizational decision-making. She is particularly interested in making AI understandable and useful for people who are not themselves AI specialists.
Her approach emphasizes practical implementation, responsible use, stakeholder participation, and careful evaluation.

We also collaborate with outside specialists when a project requires additional industry, research, design, or technical expertise. This flexible model allows us to assemble a team suited to each organization’s needs.
